How can I keep a razor blade sharp?

I shave with a disposable razor, but am getting fed up of paying for new blades and want to save money. Is there any way I can keep a disposable razor sharp, or a device available in the UK which will sharpen disposable blades?|||I find disposable razors are very poor,the standard 3 blade replaceable blade type seem to last the longest but the supply in major supermarkets seems to dry up when a new,more expensive model comes out.The old double edged blades were resharpenable,as were the old cut throat type.The standard method of sharpening I use for carving chisels,plane blades and card mount cutting blades is a leather strop and diamond honing paste from Axminster Power tools.Their on line catalogue is good,but their full catalogue is well worth having for it's comprehensive information sections.It is real tool enthusiasts porn!!!!!|||If there was do you think that Gillette would allow it onto the market? If there is such a product I think you would spend far too much time trying to sharpen the blade and then it would blunt at the first application and leave you cut and bruised.|||No, I'm afraid you'll have to keep buying new ones, disposable razor blades aren't made from anything quality, also for the sake of hygiene, keep replacing you blades every other month.|||There used to be a little gadget made from glass called " The Lillicrap Hone" which could be used to sharpen razor blades.
