How to avoid razor burn when shaving the downstairs?

every time i shave downstairs i end up with the red itchy razor burn. how can i avoid this?|||You need to use a fresh razor and a good shave cream (Aveeno makes a really good one). Shave with the growth of the hair and never shave the same area more then once. Make sure you have soaked the area with warm water before shaving (it opens the pores and softens the hair). After wards, something like baby powder will help with any itchiness.|||There's a product called Amphora that is made for razor burn, a blue liquid that is antiseptic and soothing. It will help a lot. You can get it at most big drug stores, or online.

It'll help your face, too.|||Would an electric razor do the job more comfortably? If not, get some small round-tip scissors and just trim yourself closely.|||Use an electric shaver %26amp; don't bare down so hard - or - just keep closely clipped w/scissors.|||Always use hot water a new razor and shaving cream|||Try using the side burn trimmer on an electric razor ...gives you a fairly close cut and no razor burn|||shave downward|||shave downwards|||shave upstairs instead lol|||don't shave...trim!
