How can i get rid of razor burn over night?

i shave every sunday and i have razor burn on my thighs. i use a 5 blade razor. i hav cheer tryouts tommorrow. any home remedies for razor burn that work over night? thanks.|||First things first, did you use shave cream or gel? Do you have any aloe vera there? Aloe vera will help, or noxema or any cold cream should ease the razor burn a bit. I use Venus Breeze for my shaving, and I have to tell you, I rarely get razor burn with it. It has the built in shave gel bars on it.
